Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 build 20161206 rel. 69298

Hello,

There's a weird issue on my Archer C60 since when I bought it (2 years ago). The internet connection just gets offline (both wi-fi and cable), the internet LED on router stays orange and there's this generic message when I try to access his control panel (WAN connection error, contact your provider or try again later):

After some minutes, everything backs to normal. And after some hours (or not even that, sometimes) all happens again. It's been like that by two years, and I tired about it. The internet modem is completely normal, never gets off, there are no instability on the line. Problem is really with this specific TP-Link's router.

I brought the router to my home now, cause it used to stay at my parents' home. And the error came it together, even with a different internet provider here (and it's another city).

The more weird is that I brought this router to be my second router, at my bedroom. I have another Archer C60 (older, the 1st version) at the living room, connected with the provider's modem. And I NEVER had any trouble with this one. Only with the newest. Just because my first router worked so well that I choose to bought another one to give to my parents, but they never had stable and trustable connection with it.

The 2nd Archer's WAN is connected with the main Archer's LAN by a cable. I really don't know what to try, never find anyone with this specific problem. Can anyone help me, please?

By the way, merry Christmas!

Here are the latest logs notes. I believe the notes linked with 2016 are about the error I mentioned, cause there are no internet connection so it's using the standard dates. And I've deleted all the notes moments before the issue. The today's notes it's about a test I made, trying to change LAN IP to another number to see if helps.

@Dema77

You might have had a faulty WAN port since you've bought the device.

The way you can utilize it, without that annoying message is:

1) Use it as an AP in this scenario with your older C60

2) Use it as a wireless extender in this scenario. with your older C60

In both cases you will benefit from extending your wireless coverage at your home.

@Ivaylo

Makes sense. Thank you, I'll try that and see if is better.

Using as an AP I could continue connecting the second router with my PC by a cable? At another LAN port?
