Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200714 rel.18254(5553)

tplinkwifi.net I was having an issue connecting to the router on 5g after 1 day of use. I had reset the router to factory and started over and it worked ok for about a day. I did it once more but this time I left the 5g security set for aes. I had previously an older router that didnt not have aes and I was using tkip. On first setup I didnt want to go through re-entering the password on each device so I had set the ax6000 5g securty to tkip. Now that I am using aes it has been working normally for 7 days. I know aes is way more secure so if this holds no worries.

@pkwest

Here some details regarding wireless security and encryption:

If you are bored reading this till the end - bottom line - always use WPA2-PSK (AES) unless you intend to setup a free hotspot.
