i bought a Archer C6 AC1200 recently. After connecting it to the modem, it seems working fine. But soon i discovered that the wifi signal lost from time to time. I observed for a while and it seems to be an issue between the router and my modem. The Ethernet connection light of my modem would be off from time to time. And whenever it's off, the router would be not working and hence internet disconnect. I checked with my internet provider. And they said it's the router's issue. And i don't know what to do..

What's your Internet port configuration - PPPoE or Dynamic IP ?

@Ivaylo dynamic IP. I used the auto detect function and it said it's dynamic IP

Can you post that screenshot :

 

 

Try connecting the modem and the router with a different cable (Cat 5e/Cat 6). Observe if any difference.

 

If the issue persists try setting Internet negotiation speed to 1000 Mbps / full duplex if your modem has a gigabit ethernet port and observe again.

@Ivaylo i have a modem.

 

It's actually funny that the router would reconnect whenever i am trying to login to the control page or when i am in the control page. So going into the page and change any of the settings is actually a fight with time lol.
