Deco M4 as Powerline?

Hello,
I ordered the Deco M4 (3-pack).
I was wondering if it's possible to use a Deco as a powerline? So for example, if I have a Deco in my room and connect a LAN-cable from the Deco to my laptop, will my laptop have wired connection?

Powerline means using electrical cables to transfer data. From your question it appears that is not what you want to do with Deco M4.

@Alexandre. Thanks for your answer. So if I use a LAN-cable instead of it's wifi it will be faster?

It will be faster, as long as laptop has gigabit LAN networking card.
If your laptop only has 100Mbps LAN but can run on 5GHz WiFi, it might do better wirelessly when connected to M4.

@Alexandre. Thanks, I just checked and it's only 100 mbps... So using LAN would be worse in this case I guess.
