Firmware Version:

Can a slave, which is solely connected to the main, retrieve data via Ethernet cable? Or must the cable, which is retrieving the data, be directly be plugged into the main deco unit?

@fz2021 just to confirm, you're asking as whether the internet connection can plug into the slave Deco? If so, no. The main one needs the internet connection input. You can have any of the set as the main one though.

@richpriest  thanks for the reply, but what I meant was can a device be connected to the internet by an Ethernet cable connected to a slave unit, when that slave unit is only connected to the main unit via WiFi only? (ie there is no cable connecting the slave unit with the main).

thank you.
