Model: Archer C80  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.3 Build 210128 Rel.64503n(5553)

 New firmware of c80 come with wpa3 sae,  when I change wpa2 aes to wpa3 sae my device can't connect to router, my phone is android 9 (only password need) and my iPad mini (ios 12.5.1) ( admin and password need). i really don't know it have some bugs with new firmware or my device just too old that can't work with wpa3 encryption. Thanks in advance.

Wireless device does not support WPA3

If the Wi-Fi connection is still only encrypted with WPA2, the wireless device does not support WPA3. Although WPA3 is supported by devices with Wireless AX (Wi-Fi 6), it is not supported by many older wireless devices such as:

  1. Android mobile devices with Android older than version 10
  2. Apple iOS devices with Apple iOS older than version 13
  3. Apple Macs with macOS older than version 10.15 (Catalina)
  4. Windows computers with Windows 10 older than version 1903

Information on whether your wireless devices support WPA3 can be obtained from the respective manufacturer.
