Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.1.2

I run Pi-Hole and a number of other servers on a computer in my home. However, I recently decided to go back to the dhcp server on my router and use Pi-Hole only for DNS.

Now, though, it seems like NAT hairpin / loopback no longer works! I can manually set my DNS to handle my local servers, but why doesn't hairpin work anymore? There is no setting in the admin interface, what about a telnet or ssh command that I can set?

How do I restore NAT loopback?

And yes, all my virtual servers and ports are set up properly. Not even pings to my external IP work from inside my network even if I enable pings on the WAN port.

Forget it. My problem was a firewall setting in my server. I was disallowing all requests coming from my external IP! What a waste of time!
