Hello i bought the tl wn722n adapter a week ago. I want to install it to 32 bit compaq presario laptop running OS  Linux mint 18.0 and kernel 4.4.0. Adapter is not working so i followed instructions to install driver from site. Although i installed the drivers adapter is not working , and no  network manager icon shown in bottom tool bar.

lsusb locates the device , and lsmod locates 8188eu driver.

But as i stated the signal of network shown through linux network  manager is about zero. i am afraid that wifi card is incombatible .
