Hi, I'm wondering to acquire one of these switches, but I can't assess which are the differences between them. Only saw E has more power consumption than S.

Is there any additional difference? Which one would you recommend for home office?

Regards,

E - EasySmart. It means it can be managed. There are not a lot of features (vlans, igmp snooping, bandwidth control, port mirroring, qos), but you can manage it. S means nothing in fact. It is absolutely the same as TL-SG105. Just color changed for different channels (retail/project). It is unmanaged switch. You can configure anything there.

Hi @Mitya

Sorry I don't understand the difference.

So you said:

  • TL-SG105E "E - EasySmart. It means it can be managed."
  • TL-SG105S "S - means nothing. It is unmanaged switch. You can configure anything there".

So both you can managed and configure things?

or do you mean the TL-SG105S you can't configure/manage things.

Is there any difference in speed or power comsumption? that is what I am interested in.

Many thanks
