Best value router for OneMesh with RE 200
I bought a TP Link RE200 range extender to help our wi-fi coverage upstairs but as i'm linking it to a Virgin Media hub it's created an EXT wifi connection and you have to disconnect and reconnect and it appears to be causing conflict between the two. I'm now thinking about getting a TP Link wifi router to create a mesh system with the RE200. Would that work and if so, can anyone recommend a router for this? Budget is not very big unfortunately.

Archer C7v5 would be good candidate for building OneMesh with RE200v4.
RE200 also supports AP mode, so if the cable connection between Virgin Media device and RE200 is an option, then you could use that to extend the wireless coverage upstairs.
Of course you won't benefit from OneMesh seamless roaming when moving between floors, but it's up to your choice after all.

This is the current version that is on sale.
On the bottom of the device there's a sticker which states the HW version and the region.
