Hi,
The wireless drops out on my router every 1 or 2 days. I checked the LED on the router and it goes off when this occurs.
I have attempted to turn WiFi back on using the 'on/off' button on the rear but it still won't work. The only remedy is to pull the
power plug for a few moments and plug it back in.
How can I fix this issue?

If you tried to reset it but it goes off constantly, I think there is a problem with wireless module, a hardware issue indeed.

I don't think this will be a FW issue as I have been running 3.12.24 Build 130110 Rel.58124n FW since day 1 and have never experienced a drop-out in weeks of continuous operation.
Sounds like a "real" HW problem to me.

Same problem
2013-05-01 11:31:05
I have this configuration:
Firmware Version:
3.12.25 Build 130322 Rel.33803n
Hardware Version:
WR842ND v1 00000000
And the same problem is happening to me every two days (get dropped out), but in my case I could not get wifi neither wired connection until I reboot the router.
Sometimes internet and wifi lights constantly blinks and some times they are on and fixed.
Any ideas of what can i do to fix this?

I have been using TL-WR842ND_V1_120424 for months without any dropouts.
After FW updates:
TL-WR842ND_V1_130110 - wifi dropout after 1-2 days
TL-WR842ND_V1_130322 - wifi dropout after 1-2 days
Back on TL-WR842ND_V1_120424, without any dropouts.
After FW updates:
TL-WR842ND_V1_130110 - wifi dropout after 1-2 days
TL-WR842ND_V1_130322 - wifi dropout after 1-2 days
Back on TL-WR842ND_V1_120424, without any dropouts.

I'm using latest firmware and no drop outs for over a year. May be user error.
