Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.7 Build 210308 Rel.60033n(4555)

Hello,

I hope you can help me with the following:

I have an Archer C80 WiFi router and RE305 extender and I want to connect them with Wired backhaul Mesh:

1. Archer C80 is receiving the internet from a LAN cable

2. RE305 is receiving the internet from a LAN cable from Archer C80 and is in one mesh network with C80.

Since I'm a beginner I'm not sure what I should change in either of the device's settings for that to become available.

The reason for this is that where the RE305 is positioned the wifi signal from C80 is not good at all.

Thanks in advance for the help enlightened

You can do this by configuring RE305 in AP mode.

Yes, but in this way, I'm not able to connect the two devices into a mesh network.

Is it possible at all to have 2 devices (C80 and RE205) receiving the internet from a LAN cable (each of them) and to be in one wifi mesh network?

No, OneMesh doesn't support wired backhaul. Here's a detailed discussion.
