Hi everyone !

Bought the Tplink AX11000 and i am having one little problem with it and intel AX200 wifi card with a lenovo thinkbad T480 !

Before it had the AC5400 and all was perfect !

My problem is ! i love using SMART Connect future on the AX11000 but what happen is , when i use my thinkpad it connect with it on the 160 mhz and get a 2.4Gbps connection.

The problem is when it go to sleep or shut down and turn it back on, it will only connect at 1.2Gbps and the only way to get back the 2.4Gbps cpnnection is to restart my AX11000 !

The intel has no option to force connection on the 160 mhz the only option is to pick 20mhz or Auto !

And on the AX11000 only was is turn off smart connect and configure it to use 160 mhz but i dont want to have 3 SSID and manual configure them. Want to keep the smart connect on !

Is there a way to report this to TPlink to check it out maybe a fix can be applied on future Firmware update ? Or is there any othere sulotion? maybe another wifi 6 card for my notebook could preforme better than the intel one ?

I Solved it !

 

lot of testing !

well here what i did !

1. reseted my AX

2. left all 3 SSID only changed names left all the rest as is uh and password changed too !

3. On the 3d 5 SSID last one in the page two things i did !

A. left WPA2 only no WPA3 only 2 ok 

B. Chnage the Channel width to 160mhz

 

thats it ! wait a little bit like 2 minuts for me needed to turn off my notebook wifi and later turned it on and the AX 160 shwed up with 1.9 GBPS later in few sec it went to 2.4 GBPS

 

 

thats it and no one has descovered that ! even in other site they say to tunrn off one of the 5 channel to get the 160 to work and not true !

I recently purchased this amazing router however I cant seem to get full 2.5GBps for a second on my computer that is right next to it. 

I have the channel width on 160mhz and set to ax only mode and I get 1.2gbps solid, I tested it on my phone as well also only 1.2 ( samsung Galaxy S20+)

The network card in my pc is Killer AX1650X

Any idea why.

we have the same issue !

I have iPhone 11 connected on AX and my wife S21 connected too on AX without any problem ! 
Now I'm thinking it's an Intel driver issue !

cos like you my laptop is 2 meter away and no object between them and only get 1.2Gbps ! 
when I turned off Smart connect still got 1.2Gbps 

The thing make me believe it's intel problem is ( a fix but bad one ) go to inter AX200 and uninstall the driver then go to Device manager and search for new devices it will re install the Intel AX 200 and then I got the 2.4Gbps connection with the AX11000 that was the only solution !

So every time it won't connect at 2.4Gbps need to uninstall the Intel Driver !

Now I'm thinking of downloading the last 4 drivers and installing one by one to see if any of the older driver works better than the latest One !

 

if you find any way to solve this plz keep me updated !

@gordenbro1 just notice your card is Killer so maybe AX11000 issue ?

look at this Article maybe it kinda solve the problem or at least explain what's happening !

go to Performance testing and read it all 

They don't allow posting link search for the site play3r.net and over there search for the Tplink Ax11000
