I have a tp link N300 wifi extender, can I use the ethernet out port as an ethernet in port instead to boost the quality and reliability of the signal?

Some range extender supports Access Point Mode , and the Ethernet port could work as input port, you could refer to instruction below to set up AP mode:

If you did not find Mode switch, may I know the model (beginning with TL-WA )and the hardware version of your device on the back label, thanks
