Having problems setting up access point on a virgin media router. The new deco app want me to create a new network first, I want to use them as a WiFi extender. How do you do this without creating a new network.

Deco units create new WiFi network. It is by design. You can't use S4 as WiFi range extender. Sorry, you bought the wrong hardware.
