Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20210205 rel.12759(5553)

Hi there,

I don't know if this is a bug or just not available but in the help-menu tooltip it says that I have the option to turn on "Guess Devices Control".

Right now the only option is either on/off for Access Control which control both wifi network(guess and non-guess), I have to turn this feature off cause no one will be able to connect to the guess wifi without adding their mac address onto the whitelist if I enable it.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

@LilKingBoo

Try upgrading the device's FW to the latest version and see if that will allow you to control the guest network.

Here's how to determine device's HW version and the FW region. The link above is for the EU version.

Sometimes the context help description has been observed to contain description for a feature that hasn't been implemented or removed - this could be the case as well.

The Access Control feature is described in the device user guide section 9.2.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@terziyski

This problem exists in archer c6u router as well. The firmware is latest.
