Hey everyone.

I have a problem with a TP-Link TL-WN822N adapter that I bought a few days ago.

My PC just can't recognise it. As soon as I connect it to a USB port, my PC makes a quick 3-beep error sound and nothing happens. And the problem is that the installation application needs to see it as connected in order to proceed with installing the drivers. I can't install them manually.

I've tried with all USB ports (both 3.0 and 2.0 ones and both motherboard and pc case ones) and the problem persists. Oddly enough, the adapter appears in Device Manager but it's just that. I also can't do anything from Device Manager, can't uninstall and reinstall it from there or update it from there or search for some kind of drivers from there.

And I have absolutely no problem with other USB devices, they work perfectly.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and I've seriously run out of ideas on what might be causing this.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!
