İ have a  TL-WA850RE V5 device. İ try to use access point mode , by an ethernet cable to cable modem , and İ can't add password to my network on the app . İ am trying and save a password on the app but it is not working for network . Still  network and wi fi is without password.

How can İ fix it.

@Lineertinker Hello, 

 

Please confirm your Tether APP is up to date and double check if wireless settings could be saved on Tether app, is there any Error message when save wifi password, can I have a photo? 

Or try to log in RE(AP)'s web page and change wireless settings there:
