How to setup dynamic ipv6?
good day tp-link network enthusiasts. I am a total noob in setting up ipv6 wan or lan.
the only way I got ipv6 working is making tl-r605 do a ipv6 passthrough
my setup is like this, double nat because I cannot afford a public ipv4 ip and my ISP only offers public ipv4 IP with a business account which is crazy expensive, so i use a vps openvpn and ssh to act as my public ip. my ISP (PLDT) just started handing out DYNAMIC ipv6 address that changes everyday and I would like to test and utilize it.
so it starts like this
ISP PLDT modem/router DHCP SERVER IPV6 addresses is 2001:xxxx:xx:xx:1234/64 and prefix 2001:xxxx:xxx:b00::/56
the tl-r605 can gets a WAN ipv6 address using dynamic IP (slaac/dhcpv6). 2001:xxxx:xxx:b00:2/64
the confusing part is the tl-r605 LAN ipv6 settings which I cannot figure out to give proper ipv6 addresses. I tried all assigned types and only ipv6 pass through work (but is buggy)
ISP PLDT modem/router settings
tl-r605 WAN settings
tl-r605 LAN settings
tl-r605 LAN ipv6 messing with settings using assigned type dhcp v6, slaac+stateless dhcp, slaac +rdnss always failing on the ipv6 tests except passthrough mode
