Hello guys.

 

Recently I bought a new internet plan and I would like to keep using my Archer C20 (v5.0) instead of the one issued by my ISP

 

The problem is I can't login and I have no idea what to do

 

Resetting to default admin/admin login does not work. It simply refreshes the page and never takes me to the actual admin area. It also gives no error (doesn't say wrong password or anything, it just refreshes the page. If I actually insert something random it says wrong password, but if I write admin/admin like the supposedly default login, nothing happens)

So that leads me here. How am I supposed to log in now? The reset to factory does nothing.

@Netuno Did you try using Private Browsing?

I experience the same issue if i switch between my C50 and the AX10. The frontend is cached in your browser probably.

Also, use the Developer tools to see if any errors are thrown on login (Network Tab).

Heyy thank you very much. I tried to login using private browsing and it worked like a charm, first try. Thanks a lot

@Netuno You can then try clearing the cache for that address specifically (or just clear it for all websites), so you dont have to use the Private Browsing.

If using firefox -> open full history, right click on the 192.168.0.1 (or tplinkwifinet whatever it was), and use "Forget Website".
