My adapter stopped working

My adapter has stopped working just like that. I tried to turn on my PC in the morning, and everything was fine, but about 4-5 hours later where nothing has been happening, it has just been turned off, it now stopped working, it can't connect to the internet anymore. I tried to turn on my laptop to see if something was wrong with the router or something, but it worked fine. So I guess something is wrong with the adapter, but I don't know what to do. It can
recognize the internet, but unable to connect for some reason.
