While TP LInk routers like C6 have a specific operation mode called Access point, it is possible to put the router in AP mode without actually enabling that option.

Can I keep the router in router mode and still make it behave like an access point?

If it's possible please share the procedure.

I read some guides on youtube that claim that you can turn any router in AP by using LAN port, disabling DHCP, and giving static IP outside of the range of main router or something like that.
