HI i am trying to extend the wifi from a BT 3 home hub, on the AP what is the difference between using it set to Repeater or Universal Repeater.
i have set it up as per the manual, my android phone sees the wifi signal but will not connect.

Repeater uses four-address and universal repeater uses three-address.
Some devices can only support three-address so universal repeater is commonly used.
The easiest way to check whether the repeater is set successfully or not is to connect a PC to the TL-WA901ND by a cable to test whether it can access internet.
If internet is working, it means the repeater is configured successfully.
