Region : Belgium

Model : TL-WR1043ND

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 3.13.12 Build 120405 Rel.33996n

ISP : Telenet

I've just bought a TP-Link TL_WR1043ND and when I was configuring the wireless settings first I had a +- 40Mbps connection,
a little later the connection dropped to 4Mbps and was constantly dropping the speed.
Sometimes it went to 15Mbps and then it drops back to 4Mbps.

Right now its only 1Mbps.

Configuration:

Wireless channel: 11
Mode: 11bgn mixed
Channel width: Auto
Max tx rate: 300Mbps
Wireless router radio and SSID broadcasting enabled

Security: WPA2 Personal
Encryption: TKIP

Transmit power: High
Beacon interval: 100
RTS Threshold: 2346
Fragmentation Threshold: 2346
DTIM Interval: 1

WMM: Enabled
Short GI: Enabled

Basic security all enabled

The rest is all default settings.
Also I'm right next to the router so the wireless connection is strong, but just very slow
The router is also placed in a dmz of another router

Any help is appreciated.

*EDIT

For some reason, after 30 minutes or so the wireless is back to 20Mbs, although I'm very close to the router so it should give 50-55Mbs..
Still looking for a solution
