Hello,
I have a problem with the combination of the TP Link router and a samsung smart tv (Samsung UE46ES6300).
Everything works fine, but I can't show videos or images from a usb-hdd connected to the router (Media server is started)
I can access the files with my windows pc and windows media-player. AND I can view content on the usb-hdd connected to the router, over allshareplay for windows and send it to the tv.
But I want to show videos on the usb-hdd without my pc.
I see the TP-Link Router as a source on allshareplay on the tv. When I click on it, there is a error message, that the request can't be executed.
Has anyone an idea what I can try?
Thanks!

I have the exact same problem on my Samsung UE406300ES TV. I have the latest firmware (3.13.12 Build 120405 Rel.33996n) installed on my WR1043ND router.
Any suggestions on how to rectify the problem ?
Regards
John

Same Here, I bought the router TL-WR1043ND thinking to connect USB and use Smart TV Samsung trough media server of the router.
I updated to the latest version and the same problem.
The tv works fine reading the PC, but not from the router.

I have a problem with the combination of the TP Link router and a samsung smart tv (Samsung UE40EH6030W with last Firmware - T-NVTE5DEUC-1017 ).
Not work Media server - USB - HDD, and DNLA softwara aka Samsung LINK, Samsung ALLSHARE, russian MEDIA SERVER ...
I see the TP-Link Router as a source on allshareplay on the tv. When I click on it, there is a error message, that the request can't be executed.
I added ports:

1 1900 UDP 1900 UDP Enabled Modify Delete
2 2869 TCP 2869 TCP Enabled Modify Delete
3 9090 TCP 9090 TCP Enabled Modify Delete
no effect :(
Has anyone an idea what I can try?
Thanks!

TP-Link doesn't have DLNA certification. 100% is compatible with Windows Media Player.
