Hi.
i have experience DNS issues on my network and I have manage to find out that the router is causing this issue.
by restarting the router the issue is solved few minutes after until it happens again.
when the DNS issue accoured, no PC on the network can communicate unless it´s direct IP.
Ping www.google.com fails on all pc´s on the network.
Ping using the diagnostic tool on the router is successful at the same time pinging to www.google.com, so the issue is only on the LAN part of the router.

I have got this confirmed by other friends that have the same router so it´s seems to be quite big issue.

I have decided to downgrade my router to release: 3.13.23 Build 120810 Rel.44064n and will continue to do test and see if this fails also.

I hope that you technicians are able to publish more stable firmware soon and identify the issues with the DNS, unless I will need to return this router.

I have notice issues on this forum and were it was solved by downgrading, but there was missing what the problem was, so I expect that others here have had the same issues as me with the DNS.

I am in the US and also have seen the DNS issue. Have multiple emails from support and nothing worked. I think there is a serious DNS issue. Typically a new site will have a long delay and the second time I go to it will be normal speed. I've tried direct google dns server entry, opendns, etc... The other morning I woke up and it required a reset to get wifi to work. Weird thing is I don't see a pattern in when it happens. If I do a speed test - speed is what it shoudl be.

I am in the US and have been having problems with slow webpage loading through my TP-Link TL-WDR4300 Hardware Version : V1. So I upgraded from firmware 120810 to version 121225 but the slow webpage loading problem continued no matter whether I was connected to it via Ethernet, 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Today I downgraded the firmware to the original version 120426 and everything is now working great. I don't know if the problem was a setting in the newer firmware versions that I didn't have right or if the upgraded firmware was causing the problem, but I am now getting very fast internet speed and all the webpages are loading without delay.

Someone suggested to let the router pass back a public dns : ie. 8.8.8.8 in the dns settings (under DHCP)

No, using public DNS will not solve this. I have tested it before.
