hi

doing a shot here.

bought 2 off ebay, did set one, but cant set the other.

wifi seems to not kick in. set to factory defaults, restarted, switched off. upgraded firmware. changed bands. but still nothing. no wifi light pop up, neither i can scan for AP (says something like please let the radio to work). and stays like that forever. all gui seems to be working just fine.

dodgy unit?

edit: at status page all set on auto it show (channel 0). so i guess its here where it stucks for some reason.

I don't know your experience in networks. Maybe give us some screenshot from Wireless Settings. Before upgrade was everything good?

both out of box, as new. one thing worth noting is the one in speak didnt want to login on default admin admin. had to reset it before i could connect. and no, wifi didnt worked at all so far.
as for my knowledge is just about what i need to run my home network with occasional custom stuff when needed.

anyway, thanks for interest and trying to help.

did channel 1 (etc), did switched to 5ghz, rebooting (alto new software should switch some things without rebooting, worked on 2nd one. couldnt get 5ghz to work with old software, always stayed at 2.4, but with new seems to be working flawlesly).
did set channel width, and whatever i could, result is always the same. radio is switched off, alto settings says otherwise. considering installing openwrt if its a software issue, since this should tell bit more eventually.

edit: and before i did notice a 'lock' led on, might have cliked button by mistake while swithcing lan from this to my working router. didnt want to fade off after restarts or power offs, but eventually its now blank. when i do click the wds button nothing happens now tho.
