I doubt there is a way to config this from the GUI. Maybe editing some web GUI-related files would do the trick; popping the hood up, mess around. You're a senior, you tell me :)

Not sure other third party firmware has such a feature or not.
I think that is a GUI and firmware design issue.
If you need such a feature, maybe you can recommend TP-link to add this kind feature to the new firmware in the future.
As a senior (you said. thx), I am not optimistic they(tplink) will do this because there is no so large scale users who need such a feature that they will not plan to do this (My personal thought).
It is worthless. Ok. That`s my nonsence. Hahaha....;)

Yeah, thought so. I'm kind of reluctant in a firmware change as I am very satisfied with how the router performs on its original firmware, and have heard many cases of stability issues even with simple firmware upgrades from TP-Link.

We're on the same page here, I doubt TP-Link will lean its ear to some tiny home user - my hope was in the community; though I completely understand it is rather difficult to temper with such aspects.

Anyway, thx for the reply. leaving this thread open to any new ideas :)
