Hi, I have the firmware v130205 and the lates 130325 does not load as its size is too much by some bytes.(4096 vs 3969 expected.)

Similar issue here, though I'm starting from a different firmware version:
I have:
Firmware Version: 3.13.12 Build 120601 Rel.62521n
Hardware Version: WR741ND v4 00000000
Trying to upgrade to the wr741nv4_en_3_16_5_flash(130325).bin file.
I have:

Before you upgrade the router, did you unzip the file that was downloaded from web?
And did you download the correct firmware for V4?
And did you download the correct firmware for V4?

Actually I didn't unzip it initially, until the router told me that it was the wrong file format. :p
And yes, I made sure it was the matching firmware, to the best of my knowledge... relevant version details are in my previous post.

Which web browser do you use to upgrade the router? Give a try on other web browser.

I've tried with both Chrome and IE 9. Both give the same error:
Error code: 18001
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the length of the upgraded file is incorrect. Please check the file name.

I have a customer who got the same upgrading issue. he just told me that he downloaded the firmware for this model V4 once again from tplink web, and you guess what..it went through smoothly this time...Maybe TPLINK fixed some problem...you can also try like this.
