I recently bought a WN727N wireless USB adapter. After successfully installing the driver and utility on my HP Pavilion v7058hk desktop PC running Window Vista 32-bits, I was stuck on the
configuration page with all the tabs (ie Status, Network, Profile etc) being dimmed and could not proceed further.
When viewing the icon of the adapter on the toolbar which is located at the bottom of my screen, it showed "WN727N disabled". The wireless connection was also in disabled mode as viewed
via the Network and Sharing Centre, I tried to enable it but with no luck. My wireless router is DI-524 AIrPlus G 802.11g/2.4GHz. Any help and expertise advice are much appreciated. Thx.

Perhaps your driver hasn't been installed successfully.

Go to the link to download the driver: http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TL-WN727N&version=V3#tbl_a

Then, please refer to the following link to install it manually: http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=52
