Hi, i flashed my 1043ND with DD-WRT after i bought and i'm using it for a year.
I'm not really satisfied with how it performs and would like to go back to stock firmware now.
Should i upgrade to latest firmware?
I've heard a lot of bad things about it. It goes from non-working WAN ports to all kinds of other issues.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

TL-WR1043ND V1 firmware was recently updated 2 days ago (April 28th) with the following bug fix:
Improved the login policy to enhanced security;
Improved media server function to support 3000 files;
Changed the default PPPoE dial-up type from Dial-on-Demand to Auto-Connect;
Fixed a bug that DNS and Default gateway can’t be empty under Static IP mode;
Download can be performed at: http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TL-WR1043ND&version=V1
You can eventually test the latest firmware for yourself, or wait a few days and follow-up to see how things are getting on as some users have already upgraded and post some feedback here: http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?3756-WR1043ND-new-firmware-available-!®ion=china

System Up Time: 0 days 07:54:41
This is the time that lasted running the latest firmware.
A real disaster getting worse.
An hour of low speed torrent collapsed to the router
BAD firmware: WR1043ND_v1_130428

When my WR1043ND was my main router (since february, I replaced it by a WDR4900), it was running fine with the build 120210...
