Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version :

ISP :

I downloaded the driver RTL8188CUS for the Realtek chipset of my TL-WN723N V2 wireless adapter from manufacturer's official site at http://www.realtek.com. I followed the instructions to install the driver for Linux, but still cannot connect with the wireless adapter. Kindly advise and help further, please.

The new driver rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20120405 does not compile. There are two errors at the end of the output from make command: make[2]: *** [/home/edmond/Desktop/rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20120405/driver/rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20120405/cmd/rtl871x_cmd.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [_module_/home/edmond/Desktop/rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20120405/driver/rtl8712_8188_8191_8192SU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20120405] Error 2
