WR740N Lan port 1 Malfunctioning

I have got some weird problem,the LAN1 lamp on the router automatically lights up after 15-20 seconds of router powered on even though its not connected to any ethernet port,and thus makes internet inaccessible via wired and wireless network,in those 15-20 seconds I can access internet properly but once this LAN1 lamp glows my connectivity goes down,I can access internet by directly connecting my wired modem to PC
