I don't see singles or triplets being sold so was wondering why? What single AP can I add to my network that will use the X90 Mesh?
If you can have one of Satellite Deco wired, you can add X60 and connect it by Ethernet cable. In that setup it'll be as good as X90.
You can also have X60 connected wirelessly to Main Deco, but X60 performance as Satellite Deco will be worse than X90, in your setup.
Had similar issue with TP-Link Deco mesh when I bought pair of M9 and later wanted to add another M9, but they are not sold in singles.
@Alexandre. Both wired ports are in use. I have a switch in the second one for all the non-wifi equipment. Can a 3rd Deco be wireless only? The run is too long and difficult to plug into the switch.
You can have Satellite X60 connected wirelessly and it should work just fine. Except, speeds on devices connected to Satellite X60 will be slower than for devices which are connected to Satellite X90. Other than that, X60 will be seamless addition to your X90 Deco mesh.
