Model: RE650  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.9.0

Both my RE650 range extender and my Archer AX50 router are dual band. But I want to turn of 2.4 GHz off on my router to limit congestion. Is it possible for my range extender and router to connect to eachother trhough 5 GHz, while the range extender only broadcasts at 2.4 GHz?

@Ebichu Yes, it is possible to turn off the 2.4GHz wifi on the router, configure the RE and then turn off the 5GHz WiFi network on the RE, if it doesn't work, let me know. I will try other ways.
