Hi,

 

I did not found an mDNS on the omada controller to enable discovery across multiple vlans ... this is definitely something missing for the people, like me, that are using Omada devices in their home and have smart devices.

 

Please consider adding this feature.

Hi All,

 

FYI, the mDNS repeater will be added on Controller v5.6, probably released on October this year.

 

I'll update this thread on the same topic once there is more new information came up.

This should be supported also for OC200/OC300 and desktop applications

Hey TP-Link,

 

mDNS reflector should really be a base option in the routers firmware.

How many of us do have for example a guest network and would like guests and members to cast to a single chromecast/appletv?!

Ubiquiti USG has it!

This is really critical. There are more and more smart devices around us that we want to be able to interact with from other VLANs and or subnets.

If I knew about this limitation before I bought the whole stack for my small office I would have gone with devices from the competition.
