Getting ready to replay over burdoned wifi system with M9 Plus...

The existing network has wired and wireless devices.  To move everything over and have the M9 handle the router and wifi duties is that I should connect the modem to the first M9, in router mode.  I can then feed the second port of the M9 to a switch which can then feed the wired parts of my network and also provided connection for wired back haul to the M9 in router mode.

Sound correct?

Thanks

@AV-Guy

Yes, it is. This is what you want to do and it will work:

Make sure the switch is compatible with Deco backhaul protocols. It is discussed in the following document: General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco. See Q4 and Q5 in this document.

@AV-Guy Yes it is correct, I do exactly this. I use wired backhaul to second M9+ via switch. My third M9+ used wireless backhaul, so there is a lot of flexibility.
