Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.10.0 Build 210716 Rel.51301n(4555)

Hi,

for some reason when i try to update my archer it shows that there is no update available, but from the website i can see that there is newer version for Archer C80.  Should i install it manually ?

I found this update https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-c80/#Firmware

Archer C80(EU)_V1_210716

Thanks in advance.

Br,

There's nothing wrong with the manual FW upgrade, but it seems to me that you already have the latest version.

Hence the reason for "Firmware is up to date." message.

This is strange because i remember that 2 months ago version was 1.5: Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 201119 Rel.55394n(4555) Also have a screenshot in another ticket which i reported, that i have issue with capped ethernet cables speed ( have the same issue again thats why i tried to udpate the FW and saw that it is older version and i cannot upgrade it) https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/500802?replyId=1002862 -> link to other thread by me, where you can see that my version was 1.5 What could cause that ? Thanks in advance

@fishy1

Look at those two FW versions:

1.5.1 Build 201119 Rel.55394n(4555) - previous thread
1.10.0 Build 210716 Rel.51301n(4555) - current thread

The latter is the newer FW version. You can determine that by the FW version: 1.5.1 < 1.10.0,  and the build date: 201119 < 210716.

As for the issue with the capped speeds, my suggestions from your previous thread are still valid.

Here's the official troubleshooting guide in such cases.
