My Fiancé has someone a few years back setup her home internet.  They must of linked the TP-Link to her router.
I am now resetting and configuring it as we have moved.
But when I try to do a few things like check connection alerts I log in but it says I'm not the owner.  How can I fix or reset or register the router?

Thank you for your time.

@Planethax

See how to reset the router if you forgot the login password - here.

See how to recover login password if you've forgot it - here.

After resetting the router use your local admin account to log in.

Then you can configure your TP-link ID on the router to be able to use it with Tether app.

How to switch between local admin account and TP-Link ID in the router's web management interface:

@terziyski

Ive has done all that and can login to router.
However, when I go to

tools

Tp-Link ID

I login with MY TP-Link ID, it's says I am not the Owner.

When I login to web application and try to unbind the TP-Link ID it's says I do not have the permission to perform that action.

Previous person bound the router to their TP-Link ID and I am trying to get it to My ID
