Hello,
I have a problem. I use TP-Link WR-940N and when using a torrent client for uploading the router disconnects the internet connection. Computer displays the message "No internet access". This only happens when it is on the torrent client.
I have restricted the number of links on my torrent client, but this does not solve the problem. I updated the driver for my wireless card, but this does not solve the problem.
Router firmware is updated to last version, but the problem remained.

I have no idea anymore ... Please Help!!!!

If you use the torrent client with your modem directly, bypassing the TL-WR940N, will it upload successfully ?

Yes, bypassing router - no problem. I use lan also no problem. The problem is only with WLAN and only upload.

what is the upload speed ?


My upload speed is 30-40 Mbit / s

if you use different torrent softwares to upload, will the problem happen ? My TL-WR740N was working fine when I try to upload my 1G pictures...

The problem is not in the torrent client. I tried a different torrent client and the problem remains. TP-Link Support recommended to uncheck the "Enable WMM". I hope to fix the problem.
