Hi,
This may be a duplicate of my previous post, but I can't see it so think it's just lost.

Bought an AX50 to replace the horrible routing on my Virgin Hub3.

Wired connection Hub Port 1 -> AX50 WAN port.

Configured through tether as per instructions, all seemed ok.

ookla when connected wireless through ax50 @90 whereas ookla via hub was @350 .. hmm.

Hub was still set to router mode so discounted the speed.

Changed hub3 to modem mode ... no connectivity. Amber (I think) on AX50, red on Hub (99% sure not magenta which means something else entirely apparently)
Couldnt get into Hub to look for config issues so ended up factory resetting and going back to router mode ... eventually as 192.168.0.1 was being redirected to 192.168.1.1 which was no longer online ...

Any thoughts more than wlcome

Many thanks

  @999frogs

Are you seperating the IP address ranges on both routers? I used a similar setup and had to set the router IP on one to (Arcer) to 192.168.0.1 and then 192.168.1.1 on the other, so that you don't end up with a conflict.

I'd also factory reset the AX50 as well and don't restore any settings from a backup. I had an issue where I was only able to get 350mbps down (on a 1Gbit line) until I factory reset. Almost like the software was simply refusing to allow more bandwidth through. Very weird issue!

Ive got the virgin hub 3 in modem mode with an AX20 router, make sure you use the top ethernet port on the back of the hub when in router mode.
