So, I connected this router to my computer through an ethernet cable, and nmap shows it's there. However, whenever I try to browse to 192.168.0.1 I end up on my computer's home page, instead of the brower login. Any idea what's going on here?
Check your computer network settings when connected to the AC1200.
Your network GW (gateway IP address) is te IP address of your router (when your computer is connected successfully to the router).
Here's a guide on how to find your router's IP address.
Usually the router can be accessed at the http://tplinkwifi.net
@eezacque Problem solved, it was a tap interface which interfered with the router.
