I cannot use the unit. It cannot be detected by android phone even if I manually input SSID or use QR code

Thanks for reaching out to us. 

Do you mean that you can't detect Wi-Fi of TL-WR802N?

If so, please try to reset TL-WR802N and see if the Wi-Fi will appear: with the device powered on, please use a pin to press and hold the Reset button until the LED blinks.
