Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.1 Build 20210806 Rel.55686

Hello,

I wonder if you can help? I have an idea in my head but with not knowing much about networking I'm not sure my SG2428P will do this...

What I would like to do is the following:

VLAN1 - This will replace my existing unmanged switch. DHCP from router - Router is 10.0.0.254 and the DHCP is set for 10.0.0.100-199 in the router.

VLAN10 - This will be used for my VOIP. I enabled DHCP on the switch and used a pool of 10.0.10.100-199. The interface is 10.0.10.1.

After following some guides online I have the majority working. VLAN1 works as it did before and VLAN10 gives out IP address no problem

My issue is no internet. I have played around with routing, gateways, tagged, untagged etc...

Will my switch actually do what I would like? If it would, if someone wouldn't mind giving me a pointer, that would be great!

This is all quite new to me.

I purchased the switch for the POE for the phones and quite fancy separating the VOIP from the PCs + NAS.

Many thanks,

Paul

  @Paul1981

Can your router be set up with VLAN interface?

If yes, you just need to set up multi network segments on the router and then set up the corresponding VLANs on the switch.
