I have the exact same issue posted on this forum in 2020:

I just bought a tp-link M7200 MiFi and works fine, however, in the "Advanced > Device > System Log" menu, I get continuous "get wps status failed" error messages because I've disabled "SSID Broadcast";

 

 

I've disabled WPS under the "Advanced > Wireless > WPS" menu and also upgraded the firmware to the latest, but it's still the same;

 

 

I don't know if I should just ignore it, but I wanted to report it.

I'm using macOS Monterey, Version 12.4 and Chrome Browser, Version 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (arm64).

 

I'd appreciate if anyone has any solutions for that.

May I know if the error still appears in the log when you enable the WPS?

 

Actually the error in the log will not affect any function or performance of the device, so please don't worry, and we will fix this issue on next firmware update.

Thanks for your reply.

 

The error still appears in the log after disabling SSID Broadcast whether you disable the WPS or not.

 

My primary concern was if I may had performance issues. Thanks for informing. I'd appreciate any updates.
