I've just installed the Deco M5 using the app.I have created a network name.My router has got it's original network name.
Do i need to change the router name to match my Deco network name ?
If the router name needs to be changed to match how do i do that.

You do not need to change router network name. Deco and router run separate independent WiFi networks. They can have different names.
If you know how to turn off router WiFi, you can do that. If you do not know, don't worry about it. Configure your mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) connect to Deco network name, and make them Forget your router network name.
