Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.5.7

Anyone notice after their upgrades that their event log is showing odd MAC addresses that do not resolve to anything??  I also notice that they are different VLAN's.  Right now it only appears to be my 2210P that is acting up and this might be due to my update to 3.20.4

  @Virgo I was able to find the issue. I went around the house and tried checking the MAC addresses and didnt find it. But I looked at my logs and didnt notice my company ipad listed anywhere.  I brought that in the house from my vehicle and checked it.  I had earlier put a block on the MAC so it could not get on the network.  Sure enough the ipad mini was not connected.

I cleared the block and allowed it to join.  Then I checked the wifi settings and sure enough APPLE has a feature called "PRIVATE WIFI ADDRESS".  That was checked and it was using a rogue MAC address not listed anywhere.  And it also was not telling me the hostname of the device...So Apple had me going for a day trying to figure out where this odd MAC was coming from.

Now I know!

Lesson learned is if you see any odd MAC addresses, check your apple devices (and perhaps Android since I realize that they can do that as well with random MAC addresses).

  @Fleegle61

You can try downgrading the firmware version of the switch to see if you can reproduce the problem, which may be a issue with the new firmware.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @Virgo Funny you should say that.  I already downgraded the switch once since some of us were seeing disconnects happening when we went to 3.20.4.  So I went back to 3.20.2 and power cycled the switch. That stabilized things.  So I decided to put 3.20.4 back and now new issues.  But before I try another downgrade I may try another power cycle to see if that clears it up.
