Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.11.30 Build 220624 Rel.50807n(5553)

I am using my Archer C80 only in Access Point Mode (not serving as DHCP server, etc.)

I just bought an Android TV stick, which is connected to the network wirelessly.

While I CAN see other WIRED Chromecast devices on my network (TVs, etc.), I cannot see this wirelessly-connected Android TV as a Chromecast device.  More, while I CAN see other WIRED DLNA servers on my network (Raspberry Pi, my main PC), I cannot see Kodi DLNA on wirelessly-connected Android TV.

At first I thought this was a problem (firewall?) on the Android TV device.

But I then set up my travel router, connected both phone and Android TV device wirelessly, and everything shows up just fine.

Why are devices not showing up on my network if they are connected to the Archer C80 wirelessly?

Thanks!

Mark

  @mcyzyk

I think I just answered my own question, so am posting here in case anyone else has a similar problem:

I disabled "AP Isolation".

I am now seeing the Chromcast and DLNA renderer on my Android TV (Onn Streaming Stick) device over the network.
