Model: Deco M4  
Hardware Version: V20
Firmware Version: 2.14.15

My garmin fenix 6x smart watch does not want to connect to my Deco M4 wifi system. Any advice. 
all software is up to date and in using 2.4 ghz as recommended.  The warch does connect to a normal router without fail.

Hi, You can try to disable "fast roaming"under Deco APP-More>Advanced.

Would there be any error message on the smart watch?

Thanks for your response. 
after I input the wifi password it comes back saying: "Could not connect to "xyz".

Sorry, Did it work after turning off fast roaming?

 or Even with roaming off, the smart watch still reported  "Could not connect to "xyz". 

If it was the second one, my other suggestion would be to enable the guest network with 2.4ghz only and use a simple password, like all numbers in case your original password had some special characters.
