Hi

I recently got the Deco M4 and it works fine with my Huawei 5g router.

I have been told to put the huawei router in bridge mode so you will not any double NAT issues but when I do that the internet stops working and the Deco goes red.

Am I doing anything wrong?

If you have applications (VPN usually) or devices (XBox as an example) that do not like double NAT, they should have alerted you by now. If you haven't seen such alerts, it is OK to keep Huawei router in its default router mode. In general, it is nice not to have double NAT, but not a requirement to get rid of it.

@Alexandre. Only thing it stops me doing is remote watching on plex. The error message of the double NAT comes up and only works when im on the same network.

There is another way to get rid of double NAT in your setup, you can try it. Keep Huawei router in its default router mode and switch Deco mesh to Access Point mode. See How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode
